Junior Chicken, Salmon & Potato isparticularly suitable as food for sensitive young dogs that are no longer in the ‘main growth phase’. In order to avoid nutritional growth disorders, the food is adapted to the more moderate protein and energy requirements.

The gluten-free recipe with tasty chicken, nutritious salmon and easily digestible potato results in a tasty and optimally digestible complete food. Addition of valuable New Zealand mussels supports the musculoskeletal system. The fats from fish and linseed contained in the food care for the skin and coat – and are also gentle on the stomach and intestines. How long should Sensible Junior Chicken, Salmon & Potato be fed?

We recommend Sensible Junior Chicken, Salmon & Potato from 7 up to and including 18 months of age. After that, your puppy is fully grown: only then is it time to switch to adult dog food. Our Happy Dog Sensible line, for example, has the right follow-up food for your furry friend.

Why do the heart-shaped kibbles have a hole in the centre?

The unique heart shape of our dry food is easier for puppies to chew. Hole in the centre makes the kibble break up more quickly. The larger surface area makes them particularly easy to digest in the gastrointestinal tract.

General feeding notes:

  • Weigh puppies regularly and document weight development.
